Are you looking for dentistry that keeps your smile not just healthy, but beautiful and functional as well? At Collins Dentistry & Aesthetics, we are dedicated to ensuring that every person receives the highest quality dental care in every way. An unattractive smile is never a truly healthy smile, and if your teeth or restorations will be damaged in a few years, that’s not healthy, either.
We use cosmetic dentistry and neuromuscular dentistry (sometimes called TMJ dentistry) to ensure your smile is fully healthy, functional, and durable.
Convenient, Friendly, Experienced Dental Care
We understand your schedule is busy, so we go out of our way to make sure you can fit in your dental and aesthetic procedures. Appointments are available as early as 6am, and we have two locations in Spokane and Spokane Valley—you can go to whichever is convenient today. We rarely run behind, so you can be confident your appointment will be when you made it for. We work hard to keep on our schedule so you can keep on yours.
Our staff is all very welcoming and friendly. We love dentistry and we love our patients, and that’s why our staff has been here 12 years.
We take the time to get to know your needs, and we make sure all your oral health needs are met, both in our office and out of it. We will educate you on the proper approaches to cleaning and maintaining your teeth and gums. We will coordinate your insurance coverage to make sure you get all the appropriate compensation, and we can coordinate financing for significant dental procedures so you can get the care you need when you need it.
What Is a TMJ Dentist?
A TMJ dentist (also called a neuromuscular dentist) is a dentist skilled in the assessment of the function of your temporomandibular joint. The temporomandibular joint is the joint on either side of your head, where the jaw meets the skull. When these joints are not functioning properly, it not only impairs the function of your jaw, it can lead to TMJ disorder and TMJ Pain.
TMJ problems are responsible for many of the problems that afflict your teeth, and can lead to chipped, worn, or cracked teeth; failed restorations, and jaw and tooth pain. Many dentists not only don’t know how to fix TMJ problems, they can cause them with ill-fitting crowns and other restorations.
Cosmetic Dentistry: More than Just a Pretty Smile
Many people think of cosmetic dentistry as dental procedures that just improve the appearance of your smile, but it’s more than that. Cosmetic dentistry is an approach to dental treatment that values the connection between healthy and attractive teeth. After all, straight, even teeth are more functional and easier to clean. White teeth are visibly free of decay. And aesthetic, white fillings are free of potentially hazardous mercury.
All new patients get a free teeth whitening to help you show off your new, healthier, more attractive smile.
